Welcome to Emerald class

Here you will find information about our most recent topic, together with some photos of the different activities and displays that show a little of what we have been doing in our class.

This term’s topic is called ‘Look back, Spring forward ’. This term is full of wonderful learning opportunites for the chidlren and we are looking forawrd to some activites that will enrich many areas of our curriculum. Please read the attached newsletter for further informaion on each subject. 

As you can see we have a great first topic for our return to school and we look forward to a wonderful term.

General Reminders

PE

The children have two PE lessons each week - these are on a Monday and Thursday and children need to come to school in their PE kit. 

Please ensure all items of clothing brought in to school are clearly named.

Homework

We ask that you hear your child read as regularly as possible as well as reading to them. In addition to reading at home we will send home homework tasks. Each week your child will receive a comprehension task, a set of spellings and a maths game through the app, Mathletics. We appreciate your continued support in assisting your child to complete each task.
