Additional E-Safety Advice

The LSCB has carried out an online consultation with a sample of parents and carers across Cheshire East to find out more about keeping their children safe online.

Many parents who completed the survey (88%) said they wanted to be better informed about e-safety. Of these 91% said there preferred information source was via their child's school.

For those schools who are keen to engage with parents and carers on this agenda, the following link provides some excellent information: www.saferinternet.org.uk/advice-centre/parents-and-carers

The site also has a link to the summary report 'Have your say' which highlights attitudes and behaviours on online rights and responsibilities of young people aged between 9 -17years.
