Welcome to the Year 4 class page where you can learn about all the exciting things we get up to….

Our class homepage is the place to find out about what's happening in Year 4 and see the latest photos. Our termly newsletter has lots of important information for parents. It is available for you to download here, alongside other important information about our learning and any significant events as we move through the year.

Class Dojo

We use class dojo as a way to reward the children and to communicate with parents. You will also get any relevant updates on here too.

This term's topic is: Ancient Egypt - Tombs, Temples and Treasures 

General Reminders

PE

The children have two PE lessons each week on Wednesday and Thursday. We ask that children wear their house team colours on these days.

Please ensure all items of clothing brought to school are clearly named.

Homework

Maths - Homework set on Mathletics on Friday to be completed and submitted by the following Wednesday. 

English -  issued each Friday on Google Classroom and should be completed by the following Wednesday.

Spellings -  to be practised at least twice and uploaded to Google Classroom by Wednesday. They will be tested every Friday.

Reading - Children are expected to read at home each day and record this in their planners/homework diaries to show us what they have been doing; this must be done every Friday.
