Kingswood

What a fabulous time we had a Kingswood!

We were so pleased to be to attend a residential visit to Kingswood, this half term, where the Y6 children experienced a range of fun activities such as, orienteering, fencing, nightline, problem solving and scrap heap challenge.  Each one involved the children applying different skills.  They were particularly thrilled by the high rope course as their nerve and determination was really tested.  One of the highlights of the residential was raft building. Here we had to work as a team to design, construct and then sail a raft.  Of course, jumping in the lake at the end was an added bonus.  Being away from home, having a sleep over with their friends and a camp fire with marshmallows all left us with some great memories.   The Y6 were a real pleasure to spend time with.  Well done.
