Science Club
Lesson: Science
Class: Year 5 Year: 2021 - 2022
This term, science club has been a full of ‘explosions’, ‘goo’ and ‘wows’! Creating slime was a very messy business and investigating the ‘best’ bubble took careful measuring and designing. The children enthusiastically worked as a team and used lots of their scientific skills.
Our lava lamps were a tremendous success. We watched the gas bubble up (because it is less dense than oil) with bits of the coloured water trapped, and then down again as the gas was released to start the process again.
We tried to fool our senses by tasting differently flavoured crisps. Our ice cream making skills need a little perfecting, but we had great fun making it.
