Science Day: The guitar thief

Class: Year R Year: 2020 - 2021

On Monday 29th March, we attended a theft at Lower Park Primary school. It was reported that a guitar belonging to the Headteacher, Mr Coulson, had been stolen. At the crime scene, several pieces of evidence were found: footprint, white powder, fingerprint and a note. 

We discussed that scientists can observe patterns from footprints to match them to suspects’ shoes. We enjoyed making our own footprints by putting a welly into paint and printing on floor.
