Stone Age Cave Paintings

After tearing and scrunching our paper to create texture, we created a background wash using watercolours.  After this had dried, we added our stone age images using wax crayons.  Did you know that during the stone age the people used ground rocks, such as red oxide and yellow ochre, mixed with water or animal fat to create their paint?
