Year two trip to Weaver Hall

Year two enjoyed a fantastic trip to Weaver Hall, to bring to life their learning about the Great Fire of London. Two servants of Samuel Pepys took us back in time to create fire marks for our houses. The children role played how the people worked together to use water from the River Thames to attempt to put out the fire. Fire hooks were then used to pull down some of the houses. The children learnt about the role of the maid and the servant for Samuel Pepys and even tried some household skills!
